This summer the Birthplace of Country Music Museum is hosting three exciting one-day Summer Music Workshops. These one-day workshops will give participants of all ages the opportunity to hone their fiddle, guitar, and banjo instrumental skills with an instructor by learning traditional songs from our Pick Along Songbook. Depending on the program chosen, attendees will also get the chance to engage in other museum-related activities such as an exhibit tour/activity, create a radio podcast, or explore the art of storytelling with a focus on Jack Tales from Virginia.
Each workshop will be limited to 10 participants each and follow social distancing and health guidelines mandated by the state of Virginia (including masks and temperature/wellness checks) to protect all participants, volunteers, and staff.
