Directions

By Car — From I-81 North/South

Travel 1-81 to Exit 3 toward Bristol going 1.7 miles on I-381, which then becomes Commonwealth Avenue. Travel 1.2 miles on Commonwealth Avenue to State Street.

By Car – from I-26 East/West

By Car – From I-26 East/West – Take Exit 46 towards Bristol, 17.8 miles. Merge on I-381 via Exit 3 towards Bristol. Travel 1.7 miles on I-381, which then becomes Commonwealth Avenue. Travel 1.2 miles to State Street.

By Air – to Tri-Cities Regional Airport

If you are traveling to the area by air, the Tri-Cities Regional Airport, TN/VA is located at 2525 Highway 75 in Blountville, TN, approximately 20 minutes away from Bristol.

Parking & Shuttles

Free Parking

Free street parking is limited around State Street and the festival grounds. Look for our Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion parking signs and check our festival map for parking locations. To help reduce our carbon footprint we strongly advise carpooling or parking at one of our shuttle pick-up sites.

ADA Parking

ADA parking is available at Regions Bank (corner of Volunteer Parkway and Shelby Street). Once your state issued identification is verified, you will then be instructed where to park. ADA parking is limited and filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Disabled Veterans of America (DVA) operate the ADA parking area. Donations to DVA for parking there are appreciated.

Paid Parking

In the Spring 2020, we will add paid parking options to this page for the Festival.

Shuttle service is available at several area hotels

Pay once, and use your shuttle pass all weekend long! Cash only. Children 12 and under are FREE. Shuttles from the VA side of town will drop off on Cumberland Street in front of the Bristol VA Courthouse. Shuttles from the TN side of town will drop off at The Downtown center located behind the Country Mural Stage.

Camping

Camping is available at a number of campsites in the area. Shuttle service is not available at all campgrounds. For other lodging options, visit DiscoverBristol.org.

Thunder Mountain Campground

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion partners with Thunder Mountain Campground and Holston River Brewing Company to provide a premium camping experience for festival attendees. Located near Bristol Motor Speedway, Thunder Mountain offers an on-site brewery. From primitive tent camping to luxury RVs, there’s a package for everyone. Shuttle passes sold separately.

Tent Camping Package

4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, use of shower house and running water toilets. Package is for up to (2) people in camping party. Extra campers in camping party? Purchase an Xtra Happy Camper Pass for $20 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

Pop Up Camping/Camper

4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, use of shower house and running water toilets. Package is for up to (2) people in camping party. Extra campers in camping party? Purchase an Xtra Happy Camper Pass for $20 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

Gold Camper/RV

Hook up to our water and electricity, 4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, use of shower house and running water toilets. Package is for up to (2) people in camping party. Extra campers in camping party? Purchase an Xtra Happy Camper Pass for $20 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

Platinum RV/Camping

Hook up to our water, sewer and electric, 4 nights: Thursday-Monday check-out, use of shower house and running water toilets. Package is for up to (2) people in camping party. Extra campers in camping party? Purchase an Xtra Happy Camper Pass for $20 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

Xtra Happy Camper Pass

All Tent, Pop Up, Gold and Platinum RV packages include admission for (2) two at each campsite. The Xtra Happy Camper Pass covers campers who are traveling with Thunder Mountain Camping Package holders. Xtra Happy Campers ages 13 and over require a pass. Children 12 and under are free and do not require wristbands. Exchange print-at-home tickets at campground.

ADA Parking

ADA parking is made possible by our friends at the Disabled Veterans of America (DVA) and Regions Bank. ADA parking is free, but donations to the DVA are appreciated upon arrival.

Once your state-issued auto identification is verified, you will be instructed where to park. Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Shuttles to festival gates are provided from the ADA parking lot.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion and are covered under ADA laws. Please note that pets and emotional support animals are not permitted.

Getting In and Around

Scooters, wheelchairs, power chairs, and other mobility devices are only permitted for use by those with mobility disabilities. All entrance points into the festival are handicap friendly and wheelchair accessible.

ADA Restrooms

On the festival map you will find locations for portable restroom facilities set up in multiple locations around the event site. At each portable restroom location you will find ADA accessible Port-O-Lets. Indoor venues also have accessible restrooms.

Wheelchair and Companion Viewing Areas

Bristol Rhythm provides reserved viewing areas for patrons with mobility challenges and one companion during the festival. A roped off area near or alongside each of the eight outdoor stages is reserved for fans with wheelchairs and their companion.

Accessible ATMs

Several accessible ATMs are located throughout the festival footprint.
