The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) is proud to announce the Birthplace of Country Music Museum has achieved Gold in Excellence in Exhibitions from the Southeastern Museums Conference (SEMC). The SEMC Exhibition Competition focuses attention on exhibitions of merit that are well designed, have educational value, and treat objects with great care and respect. The competition showcases the best in the museum profession and provides benchmarks for regional exhibition efforts in southeastern museums.

The Southeastern Museums Conference is the major regional networking organization for museums and their staff in the southeastern states as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
