A Princeton West Virginia based corporation, the A.H.M.A. consists of volunteers and artists teamed to present Bluegrass and Old-time Music programs for members and general public.

SPBGMA is a not-for-profit corporation with the follwoing goals:
- To preserve the traditional spirit and art form of Bluegrass music
- To offer a management service for any community desiring to hold a Bluegrass festival
- To organize and conduct Bluegrass Band competitions and to qualify individuals as judges for band competitions. In all SPBGMA sponsored events, instruments must be traditional acoustic instruments, no electrified instruments are permitted
- To encourage professionalism in appearance and showmanship by the performers at SPBGMA events
- To encourage the support of various Bluegrass publications and associations.

A large organization of bluegrass pickers and grinners in the Southwest United States that promotes bluegrass music with a bimonthly newsletter, information about bluegrass festivals, campouts, weekly bluegrass house jams and school education programs.
