Bluegrass and Barbeque to Benefit Children's Advocacy Center

The Children's Advocacy Center of Washington County, VA/Bristol, VA is having a bluegrass fundraiser on Saturday, June 27th -- with a lineup of talented artists (some of which will be at Rhythm & Roots this year).   $10.00 Admission, Children 12 & under free. (Cash only)2:00 PM, Barbeque and Concessions. Sugar Hollow park, Bristol, VA at Preston's Grove.

With our caseload of abuse cases increasing significantly in the past few months, funds are needed to continue to train our staff and protect our clients.  With our fundraising efforts last year we were able to send one of our therapists for specialized forensic training on how to conduct interviews on children two and under.  Shortly after her return from training - her first interview was that of a child under the age of 2.  So, please come out and support our mission and our efforts.
