The Bailes Brothers, usually performing in combinations of two, were one of the most popular harmony duets during the middle and late 1940’s. Their deeply emotional, sincere singing style and original song lyrics contributed to their lasting popularity.

Ernest C Ferguson - Mandolin

My father, Ernest C Ferguson, is pictured in the photo, second from the left. He played Mandolin and bass guitar and did vocals. He's played with the Bailes Brothers for years, and met with Homer Bailes a couple of years ago in Louisiana for a Gospel Music Award for the Bailes Brothers.
