If you are a bluegrass fan and attend several music events throughout the year, you may have often admired certain musicians, either for their playing or singing and have wanted to see them featured more. Well, now is your chance!

Coming to the Paramount Center in Bristol,Tennessee January 15, 2006: "Pickin' at the Paramount," an all-star bluegrass jam. There will be two shows, at 3PM and 7:30PM. Admission is $15.00 in advance and $20.00 the day of the show. Tickets will go on sale December 05, 2005 and can be purchased by calling the Paramount Center at 423-274-8920.

The line-up for the Jam showcases some of the best musicians in bluegrass. Individual members from bands such as Blue Highway, Mountain Heart, Del McCoury Band, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, the Grascals, Three Fox Drive, Wildfire, Blue Ridge, Lonesome Standard Time, The Lynn Morris Band and others will be featured.

Individual artists on this years line-up include award winners such as Phil Leadbetter (dobro), Adam Steffey (mandolin), Mike Bub (bass) and Jim Mills( banjo) from the recent International Bluegrass Music Associations award show. Also featured are Larry Cordle, David Talbot, Don Rigsby, Kim Fox, Rob Ickes, Jason Carter, Junior Sisk, Marshall Wilborn, Rob McCoury, Darrell Webb, Steve Gulley, Ronnie Bowman, Tim Laughlin, Terry Eldridge, Alecia Nugent and the legendary Bobby Hicks. In all, over twenty musicians will participate. The music coordinator for this event is Tim Stafford.
