Fun and success jamming together!

Jam camp is designed to give you knowledge, clues and practical experience playing by ear with others. Gilbert Nelson shows you the way along with his expert professional teaching and coaching staff. Most of all he makes it fun!

Jam camp is taught according to the Wernick Method.

Our “One Room Schoolhouse” is perfect for entry level and advanced pickers alike. Intro groups are slow tempo, easy chords and gentle encouraging instruction. Intermediate and advanced tracks explore exciting insights including improvisation, stage craft and lots more!

Topics Include:

* Basic Jamming Instruction and Advanced Tracks
* Band Labs – Stage Craft
* Instrument Breakout Sessions
* Begin a song and end one.
* How to “fake” a solo.
* Leading songs – and following.
* Who’s turn is it, how can we tell?
* Capos and transposing made easy
* Etiquette and Tradition
* Harmony Workshops
* Professional Staff and Coaches
