The nation’s longest running folk festival. The 81st annual edition of this three-day event showcases the best of the region’s traditional and old-time musicians, ballad singers, mountain dance groups and cloggers. Thursday through Saturday, July 31 through August 2, 2008. 7:00p.m. nightly at Diana Wortham Theatre at Pack Place in downtown Asheville, NC. Tickets on sale March 1 at the Pack Place box office.
